#WIRECAST PRO FOR FREE PLUS#
I would say I'm 3 on a scale of 10 on that learning curve after about 6 weeks but I have to be up to 7 of 10 in the next 6 to 10 weeks and I'm confident that I'll do that with all the YouTube and Wirecast website tutorials there are available PLUS Wirecast's own FORUMS (often these letters are the best of all). Wirecast is just that same curve, simple result is simple to set up and be broadcasting LIVE but as you add layers and complicated graphics, media, off site connected video or LIVE sources, the curve gets intense although, definitely doable. I have over 1,500 post productions behind me having used Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro/Final Cut Pro X (the latter my favorite of all) and learning FCPX wasn't easy even after I'd had all the others. If you are a professional or an amateur/beginner, the learning curve will much more difficult although once learned (like any professional app) it's just a matter of clicking the right switches and ticks and you are well on your way to what can appear as any mainline broadcast studio with all the tweaking and fine tuning of your screen available to any pro on pro software. There are free apps that will do the same with a very shallow learning curve. However, that comes with a hefty price tag. If you are an amateur or beginner, you can easily get a web cam hooked up and begin broadcasting in minutes to Facebook or YouTube, it's that simple when you want simple. It packs a lot of power and performance but it's also just as demanding knowledge base wise and computer resource wise. This app is amazing but beware if you are a beginner or non-professional.
